I have made this Zucchini Squash Sticks recipe once before. I so rarely repeat a recipe. The problem with that is I never learn how to make one dish well. This is such a great appetizer. The difficulty level to make this recipe is pretty darn easy and your family or guests will absolutely love it. You can get variety by creating dipping sauces. So this appetizer is really versatile.

- 1/2 each zucchini and yellow squash, sliced into fry shapes
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/4 tsp Kosher salt
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup milk of choice
- 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
- Preheat oven to 420F. Lightly grease a cooling rack, place it on a baking tray, and set aside. Set up an assembly line: flour and spices in one bowl, milk and egg in another, and Panko breadcrumbs in a third.
- Dip each zucchini stick in the flour, then the milk, then the breadcrumbs. Place on the cooling rack.
- Bake 18-19 minutes, or until desired crispness is reached. Enjoy!
Set up your typical dredging station to get the zucchini squash sticks ready. The zucchini squash sticks should rest before baking.
After baking, you will have an appetizer with a really nice crunch.
Serve and enjoy!
