My Ultimate Lemon Parmesan Chicken is a delicious dish that beautifully combines the zesty freshness of lemons with the rich, nutty flavor of Parmesan cheese. The first time I had this dish was when a chef friend of my wife’s came to our house to cook it for my mother-in-law.

Simplicity makes delicious

It is such a classic dish and so easy to make. It is really amazing sometimes when a recipe with a modest amount of ingredients is so good. In this post, we will dive into the origins of the Ultimate Lemon Parmesan Chicken, highlight its key ingredients, and provide you with an easy-to-follow recipe that will help it become a favorite in your kitchen.

Classic rustic Italian

This rustic Lemon Parmesan Chicken can be traced back to the culinary traditions of Italy. Italians are masters at transforming simple ingredients into extraordinary dishes. Italy’s agricultural has an abundance of lemons. When the marriage of tangy lemons mix with the savory Parmesan cheese, you just get this unreal combination.

Dredging adds texture and something for the lemon to grab on to

This dish can be found on a lot of Italian menus, and I have found they all do it a little differently. One of my favorites restaurants in Chicago that makes this signature dish is TUFANO’S VERNON PARK TAP. There lemon chicken is cooked straight while my recipe – this time – was dredged in flour. For me, the dredging enables the chicken to hold on to even more of the flavor.

    Serve and enjoy!
