This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group TM and Tony’s Pizza but all opinions are my own.  #pmedia #Tony’sPizza http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV

So when I was asked to consider a post about Tony’s Pizza I had to think only for a minute.  The idea for this post came from the opportunity to eat bread again.  What am I talking about you say?  Like Lent for the Catholics where a restriction often selected is food; for the 8 days of Passover, we do not eat leavened products.  That means, among other things, no bread.  It has become a tradition, or rather a requirement, in my house that at the end of the holiday, we ring in normalcy with a pizza.  So when I was presented this opportunity to try Tony’s pizza and it timed with Passover, I knew exactly when we would try it.  Only problem is my kids are all at college.  So the taste testers were my wife and me.

As someone who likes to cook, buying and eating frozen pizza is a thing of the very far past.  Tony’s is promoting their new crispier crust.  Since, I cannot say I have had their pizza before, I have nothing to compare it to.  I will say that both my wife and I really liked the crust.  Take advantage of this link to a coupon to get $.75 off 2 pizzas at your local Walmart store while supplies last.

We cooked it in our oven and used our pizza stone.  The crust was truly the best part of the pizza.

Tonys 1 500

Tony’s Pizza has a good amount of tomato sauce and plenty of cheese.  We tried both the new crispy crust and the original.

Pizza 2 500

With the pizza stone, we liked each of them equally.
