When I work out I always am watching the Food Channel.  I watch and listen to music so I have to guess on the ingredients used.  I saw Giada make Spinach Cheese Bread or something like that.  I knew I had a bag of fresh spinach leaves in the fridge and some cheese and my wife had made a fresh bread (in the bread machine) for the kids.  I took the ends (which they would not want) and baked and broiled them with oil to crisp them up. I sauteed the spinach with garlic.  Great combination of flavors.

Recipe
Spinach Cheese Bread:

  1. Start with homemade bread, drizzle with olive oil, bake on 350 and broil for a couple of minutes to crisp up
  2. Saute spinach with 2 pieces of chopped garlic
  3. Assemble with crisped bread, a couple of leaves of sauteed spinach and top with mozzarella and Parmesan and bake for 3 minutes.
