Klondike Kandy Bar

Bars out of Box 500

There is nothing like a Klondike Bar.  We all know that phrase whether we have had a Klondike Bar or not.  Klondike has come out with a new concept, Klondike Kandy Bars.  Unbelievable!  The original was so good.  Now Klondike has added a spin that is sure to please kids and adults alike.  These posts are always fun to try because often the product is new to me.  I have not tried these new Klondike Kandy Bars before now.  I really liked them.  I love to have a little sweet after dinner and this bar is a perfect size.

Now you can find these Klondike Kandy Bars at almost any grocery store.  I would have filled the cart completely if I weren’t the only one at home to eat these.  Kids come home from college and help me please!

I can’t wait for my kids to return home to try these.  I know my youngest will be all over these.  He loves dessert just like his father and there is nothing he loves better than ice cream.  For traditionalists, I included the original Choco Taco in the background to bring back memories.  But let go.  Give something new a try.  You will not be sorry.

I should also mention that I took the pics and had my wife hold the bars in some of the pics and we both started eating the bar even though we were getting ready to out for dinner soon.  Oh well. Which actually makes me think that this would be a great dessert for a kid’s birthday party.  I am not sure that this statement should be limited to kids.  These bars would be great in lieu of cake.

These Klondike Kandy Bars come in 3 flavors now and I am sure they must be working on more.  The flavors include Fudge Krunch, Caramel & Peanuts and Cookies & Cream.

Klondike has created some fun advertising around their marketing of these bars.  Here is a link to a vine showing a low tech way to make these Kandy Bars.  I am guessing that this not how the bars are actually made.  And for deep thoughts and ideas on Klondike Kandy Bars, check out these vignettes on YouTube

Serve and enjoy!

I’m not typically too crazy about Klondike bars, but these new Kandy Bar ones look awesome! I like that they’re in a more easy-to-eat shape, and the Fudge Crunch ones look really great.

You do not have to worry about this but as you get older, one typically passes on dessert. These are perfect size. Even have 1/2 at a time just to get the taste.

You and your Klondike Bars, which I think are delicious already, are driving me crazy. I am sitting here in a hot office typing and feeling virtuous because I am getting some stuff done and you ‘two’ are tempting me to just drop it all and go get an ice cream.
BUT I will still wish you a belated Happy Birthday!!!
