Hummus

I have never been a big fan of hummus because the tahini is not my favorite taste.  I added plain Greek yogurt which provided a great balance and this was very satisfying.

Recipe
Hummus with Greek yogurt added:

  1. 5 unpeeled garlic cloves, 2 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil, one (14 ounce) can garbanzo beans, drained, 1/2 cup tahini, 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice, 1 tsp ground cumin, 1 tsp salt combined in a food processor and blended for about 3 minutes
  2. Add 1/2 cup of plain Greek yogurt and mix for 30 seconds
  3. Top with a small amount (1-2 tablespoons) of olive oil and serve.
