These graham cracker layer bars are another joint creation with my daughter.  It is so fun when she is home.  Come home Molly.   Please.  Who needs college.  You can always cook with me.

These bars are quite fun and really easy to make.  You can add chips of any flavor to mix it up and to meet your tastes.  You can certainly add nuts, coconuts or any other typical cookie addition.  I also favor bars to cookies because they are sturdier and easy to pick up.  I guess that means I like the consistency of a bar more.

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup butterscotch morsels
  • 8 – 10 oreo cookies, roughly chopped

Directions

Pre-heat your oven to 325 degrees.  Coat a 13″ x 9″ glass baking dish.  Melt the butter.  In a bowl, combine the melted butter and the graham crackers.  Press into the bottom of your prepared pan.

She is a genius and she would probably agree. She has earned that title at college and in the kitchen!
