This is one of those dishes that we all remember as kids.  My kids, though, almost grown still love a fried egg sandwich.

Recipe
Fried Egg sandwich:

  1. Toast 2 pieces of wheat bread
  2. Fry 2 eggs over easy
  3. Top each egg with 1 piece of american cheese
  4. Assemble sandwich and serve

I love your posts. That is the idea of my blog. These are creations that should connect you to your childhood or just simply say, I need to try that, it must be good.

    Hi Peter,

I have eaten these since I was a teen and now have my son (16) eating them all the time too. They are also great with bacon or sausage on them.

I agree! One of my favorite sandwiches from when I was little – my grandmom used to make these for me all the time! So good!
