Keeping with the summer theme, my spin for this Friday Five is to draw from Southern inspired recipes.  I love Southern influenced food and I hope you get some neat ideas from this post.

So going back to the way I used to start these offering, I present a drink.  This is Southern Iced Fruit Tea from Fearless Homemaker.

What says Southern like biscuits.  This Southern Biscuits were created by Food Swoon.

Pimento cheese is so Southern.  Putting it in a grilled cheese sandwich, great use.  I offer you this Pimento Grilled Cheese Sandwich from the Spicy Southern Kitchen.

Working again with Pimento Cheese, I have presented a Pimento Cheese topped Corn Fritter by me.

And if you think Southern food is not elegant, look at this beautiful Tomato Pie from Barbells and Bellinis.

We finish our journey of Southern food with this Grasshopper Pie from the Moonblush Baker.

You are right. I have made the wrong reference all along. Have to laugh at myself. Thx for letting me know.

Thanks for featuring my Pimiento Cheese Sandwich Peter. Nothing like southern food! I’m going to have to try those corn fritters topped with pimento cheese. Looks divine!
