Friday Five – Smoked addition

No not cigarette smoking but the smoking of food.  I love it, my family loves it and I hope you do too.  Smoke is so versatile as you will see by these offerings.

Naturally, we begin this journey with an appetizer.  You can smoke your own salmon or buy it at your local deli or bagel shop.  This lovely and easy Smoked Salmon Dip from a Food Centric Life is a great start to your meal.

Now, cannot settle for just one appetizer.  A common twist to a deviled egg is to add smoked salmon.  So try these Smoked Salmon Deviled Eggs from Simmer Down.

Attempting to further prove the versatility of smoking, I present this Smoked Salmon Chowder from Pass the Sushi.

This smoked brisket looks amazing.  Smoked brisket is one of my all time favorites and is so good if you get it right.  I present Smoked Brisket from The Gallery Gourmet.
