It is the holiday season and that means baking.  So on this day, I bring you a Friday Five – Cookie addition to help you prepare for your kids, a party or a gift.  So I do not confuse you, I consider bars cookies.  I think, actually I know, I like bars even more than cookies.  I love the layers and they are also so chewy.  My favorite part of eating a cookie.  Well that is not my only favorite thing I like about my cookies.  I love my cookies in the freezer.  I like my cookies really crunchy.  Bottom line is I like cookies and bars.

Our first recipe for this Friday Five – Cookie addition has that holiday feeling.  This is a Red Velvet Cheesecake Cookie from Two Peas and a Pod.

If you are looking to create a totally seasonal cookie, you will want to try this Snowflake Sugar Cookie from Cake and Allie.

As mentioned above I love bars.  This next idea I created – a Cookie Dough Cheesecake Bar.  You will love the way the cookie dough melts into the cheesecake.

Bringing you another bar, this beautiful cookie bar is a Caramel Apple Cheesecake Cookie Bars created by Zoom Yummy.

Keeping the bar theme going, I think you will like this spin on the cookout classic.  These are S’mores Bar Cookies developed by Teacher By Day, Chef By Night.

Giving you a very seasonal idea, check out these Gingerbread People Cookies from Glorious Treats.
