This is my family’s go to recipe. Whenever we need to make a quick recipe that is a big winner, this is it. Just a few ingredients mixed up and thrown into a bundt pan. All you have to do is not over cook it. My daughter and I were going to sit Shiva, the Jewish custom of supporting the bereaved family, and did not want to arrive empty handed. This whole recipe was completed in less than an hour.
Ingredients:
- 1 Box Devil’s Food cake Mix (can substitute yellow cake)
- 1 package instant chocolate pudding
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 12 oz bag of chocolate chips
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a bowl except the chocolate chips.
Mix by hand but do not overmix. Add the chips.
Stirring one more time. Pour into the bundt pan.
Bake at 325 degrees for for 50 – 60 minutes.
A toothpick should come out clean when inserted into the cake. Enjoy!
