I was asked to try CedarLane Omelettes.  CedarLane Foods is a prepared food company with Mediterranean roots.  I was asked to try the omelettes.  I am always interested to product that I am interested in.  Now, my regulars know, that I make almost everything from scratch.  Once in while, I just do not have time and it would be great to grab something, warm it up and enjoy it.

These omelettes were really quite good.  I was a little skeptical to begin with.  Further adding to my skepticism is after you open the package, it reminded me of the containers you used to get on airplanes. The distant memory of airline food, quickly went away after I began to taste the omelets.  I shared them with my wife.  We tried the Green Chili, Cheese & Ranchero Sauce White Omelette and the Spinach and Mushroom Egg White Omelette.

They were both quite good.  My audience knows that I favored the Green Chili, Cheese and Ranchere Sauce because of my love of Mexican food.  However, if I order a vegetable omelette, I am ordering spinach and mushroom.  Each omelette was filled with plenty of the filling.  Normally, I would expect the fillings to be short changed.  But that was far from the truth.  All in all, I would recommend this product.  I think it is perfect for people on the go; people who do not really know how to cook and for college students.

Those are impressive-looking for a pre-packaged food. I would’ve thought they were homemade!
