Chipotle Baked Chicken Wings
I can’t believe that I am finally getting to this post for a recipe that I created for the Superbowl party my wife and I attended. These Chipotle Baked Chicken Wings were so good. They are baked so they are pretty darn healthy. These wings have amazing flavor developed through layering the the chipotle glaze. I reduced the sauce two times making an intense flavor. The wings were baked, and then, broiled with the sauce created a nice sticky exterior.

I only had to make one dish for this party so I spent a lot of time on these wings. I spent three hours making these wings. I don’t know if you have that kind of time normally. It is not a hard recipe but the time really made these Chipotle Baked Chicken Wings so good. Our friends at the party were giving super high remarks for their taste. The recipe was essentially a remake of my Chipotle Glazed Salmon. I used the same ingredients but expanded on the technique. This recipe development was so worth it.

If you think you can only have your wings deep fried, think again. You need to try this recipe. As my regular readers have come to know, I make more and more of my recipes with a healthier set of ingredients. Now, I have not gotten carried away on this front but I frequently am exchanging out certain ingredients and balancing out some of the less healthy ingredients. Experience in cooking really helps to know what ingredients one can swap out without losing any flavor. Experience also helps with using techniques that will add flavor. For these wings, I coated the wings a few times through the process from pre-bake and through the baking of the wings.
