In an earlier post, I explained I was teaching my son and girlfriend some basic cooking techniques that they could use. Â In this easy side, they were learning knife skills, making a marinade/dressing and baking for a healthier alternative.
We started with showing how to quarter the potatoes after showing the correct way to hold and control the knife – putting your thumb and index finger on each side of the blade for control. Â Then, cutting using a rocking motion. Â After the wedges were cut, we made our marinade. Â Simply combining olive oil, mustard and some basic spices. Â There you have it.
