I assume you are all a lot like me?  We watch a lot of cooking shows and grab a number of our ideas from what we see.  It is my second biggest source beyond my fellow bloggers.  We see things that we think we like and give it a try.  My wife and I love margaritas and I really like mangoes.  This drink turned out really sweet.  I liked it a lot but I can’t say the crowd loved it.  So if you decide to make this, be sure that your crowd likes sweet.

Recipe
Mango Margarita (adapted from the Pioneer Woman):

  1. In a blender, mix 1 cup each of tequilla, triple sec, 1/2 of a fresh squeezed lime, 1 cup of sugar and 1/4 cup of fresh mango pulp (from a can)
  2. For the rim, take sugar and mix with the zest of one lime on a plate; put water on a 2nd plate and wet the top of the glass and then dip into the sugar lime zest mixture
  3. Dress with a fresh mango slice.

Why would you use mango from a can? And a whole cup of sugar? Those parts really confuse me.
