Today, I make my foray into the drink mix craze.  I was given some fresh cut up watermelon.  What to do?  I soaked the cubes in two ways – one with rum and two with vodka.  Then mixed each with orange juice and  tonic water.

Recipe
Watermelon Drink 2 Ways:

  1. Marinate in separate bowls watermelon cubes in 1/2 cup each of rum and vodka for an hour
  2. Fill cup half way with orange juice, 1/4 of the way with tonic water and add one cube of watermelon in the drink
  3. Top off drink by pouring in the remaining liquid in each cup (if it is not clear, I kept the rum and vodka separate
  4. Finish off by adding a sprig of mint

Both sound good. How about linking this in to the Cocktail/Mocktail edition of Food on Friday?
