Who doesn’t like breakfast.  In my house, we have breakfast anytime of the day.  My kids will tell you, we have a breakfast for dinner night every so often.  Now sometimes, this is because we do not have much in the house and sometimes it is because we want to put a dinner together quickly.  In either case, no one complains.  Breakfast food is so versatile and can come in many forms and textures.

Now, I begin this breakfast journey with a how to post.  Everyone struggles making poached eggs.  Simply Scratch has given us the secret to Perfectly Poached Eggs.

One breakfast recipe that I have seen many times and definitely need to try is Shakshuka.  This dish was presented by Lexi’s Clean Kitchen.

I am a huge hash brown fan.  I almost order a skillet whenever I am at a breakfast place and see it on the menu.  This recipe is a hash brown omelet skillet created by Never Enough Thyme.

Eggs are so versatile.  Here is a Cheesy Sausage Spinach Casserole developed by the Brown Eyed Baker.  I really like casseroles.  I think that I really like the all in one dishes whether it is a casserole or a skillet.  How about you?

Showing you the flexibility of preparations, I present this Potato and Crustless Quiche with Goat Cheese by The Bojon Gourmet.

Who said breakfast isn’t healthy.  Got to go green with this Green Smoothie by Barefeet in the Kitchen.

It turns out, except for the last suggestion, that this Friday Five – Breakfast addition is all eggs.  So we close out this feature with a Healthified Breakfast Nachos by Lauren’s Latest.

Enjoy!
