Asian cuisine is all about simplicity and bold flavors, and my salmon steak recipe is no exception. I even whipped up a tasty fried rice to pair with it using just a handful of ingredients – oyster sauce, soy sauce, salt, pepper, ginger, garlic, and kimchi powder. It was so delicious that my wife said it was my best one yet!

SPICY ASIAN TOFU

Speaking of the history of ASIAN CUISINE in the US, did you know that it was first introduced in the mid-1800s when Chinese immigrants from Canton settled in California? It wasn’t until after World War II that this style of food became popular throughout the country.

Now, let’s get to the star of the show – the Asian Salmon Steak! All you need are four simple ingredients – salmon steaks, tamarind sauce (gluten-free soy sauce), pure sesame oil, and maple syrup. Marinate the salmon steaks in this flavorful mixture for as little as 10 minutes or up to an hour, and then sear them to perfection in a cast iron skillet with a touch of oil. Finish off the steaks by adding the remaining marinade to the skillet and let them steam to doneness. That’s it! Quick, easy, and bursting with flavor.

So what are you waiting for? Give my Asian Salmon Steak recipe a try and let your taste buds be transported to the flavors of Asia in just one bite.
