Ultimate Couscous Fried Rice

Creating this spin on a classic by using couscous to make my Couscous Fried Rice. My recipe is easy an so flavorful.

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Couscous
  • 1/4 Whole Onion diced
  • 1 Head Broccoli cut in florets
  • 2 Whole Carrots peeled and small dice
  • 1/2 Cup Red cabbage sliced
  • 3 Cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 Tsp Kimchi seasoning
  • 2 Tsp Garlic
  • 2 Tsp Pure sesame oil
  • 1 Tbsp Tamarind (soy sauce)
  • 2 Tsp Garlic oil
  • 1 Tbsp Vegetarian oyster sauce

Instructions

  1. Begin by cooking the couscous according to box instructions. Set aside.

    At the same time, steam the broccoli florets just short of tender and set aside.

    Meanwhile, heat the oil and add in the onions and carrots. Cook for a few minutes and add in the cabbage and broccoli. Cook for a minute or two, and then, add in the garlic and all spices. Mix well and cook for 1 minute.

    Add in the couscous and the sesame oil and tamarind - mix to combine. Finish by adding in the vegetarian oyster sauce. Once mix. Serve and enjoy!
