One of the things I love to do is to learn by trying.  I bought a wonderful piece of salmon and wanted to add a twist for indoor cooking.  I went on line to find a marinate and the essence was soy and honey.  After marinating the salmon for an hour, I started the grilling in my iron skillet. Shortly after starting cooking, I decided to throw the reserved marinate into the pan and create a glaze on the fish.

The technique worked fairly well.  The fished was cooked perfectly but i found the taste a little salty – all the soy.  I will try this again and vary the ingredients.  The finished product is below.
