This post is a response to the amazing meal I had at Cafe Iberico. The spice and flavors of Spain were awesome. There are so many great flavors and such good spices in Spanish food. So this Friday Five – Spanish addition is inspired by a recent restaurant visit.
Our first offering is the Magnificent Gazpacho from Eat Drink Paleo.
So I am not sure if this next dish is a main course or an appetizer but I going with an appetizer (no a main course). Anyways, it is Spanish Chickpea Balls by Veggie Num Num.
So let’s begin with a mild offering – a Spanish Spice-Rubbed Roasted Chicken Thighs by Apples and Sparkles.
Before we get into a super traditional Spanish dish that many of us know, I present a Spanish Sea Bass with Chickpeas dish that I, Feed Your Soul Too recently created.
The traditional dish I referenced is Spanish Paella (I love paella). This dish was created by Mogwai Soup.
Our next presentation is a vegetarian noodle spin on a paella known as Fideua – Spanish Noodle Paella(no I did not know what that was) that was developed by May I Have That Recipe.
Now this is a super cool concept. It is called Tortilla Espanola developed by Dramatic Pancake.
Our final offering is a sweet offering. It is a Pancho Segoviano or Segovia Layer Cake from The Winter Guest whose blog is a story of her “kitchen in Spain”.

Wow all those dishes look incredible! I love Spanish food and these all sound amazing : )))
Yes, yes I will have one of each please! 🙂 Each one looks more delicious than the other. Great Friday Five post.
Trevor, that is the way to do it. Not sure you will want to eat again for a while.
Each and every dish looks and sounds amazing. I would love them all Peter.
I’m glad I’m not forced to pick just 1 because these all look so amazing I want to make them all.
