Ingredients

Pesto Aioli

  • 1 Cup Basil
  • 1/4 Cup Oine nuts
  • 1/4 Cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 2 Cloves Garlic
  • 1/4 Cup Olive oil
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 1/2 Cup Homemade mayo

Turkey Caprese Burger

  • 3 Lbs Ground Turkey
  • 2 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Tbsp Ground black pepper
  • 7 Slices Fresh mozzarella
  • 1 Whole Beefsteak tomato sliced
  • 7 Whole Buns sliced
  • 1 Tbsp Olive oil

Instructions

Pesto

  1. Put all the ingredients in a blender save for the oiive oil and mayo Turn on the blender and drizzle in the olive oil. Blend until combined. Finish by adding and mixing in the mayonnaise. Set aside.

Turkey Caprese Burger

  1. Begin by forming your burger patties and season with salt and pepper. Heat the cast iron skillet on medium high heat. Add the burgers and cook 4 - 5 minutes per side. After flipping the burger, 2 minutes into the second side, top with the fresh mozzarella. Cover with a lid to enahnce the melt. Remove from pan and let rest ofr a minute.

    Meanwhile, bake the buns for 1 - 2 minutes at 325 degrees. To assemble, take the bun and lather with the pesto aioli. Next, add the burger followed by the tomato.

    Serve and enjoy!
