Hamburger Loco Moco Recipe

Making the Hawaiian classic the Hamburger Loco Moco Recipe as a leftover meal and using a steaming technique to reheat the burger keeping it moist.

Ingredients

  • 4 Whole Hamburgers
  • 16 Ounces Bella or Crimini Mushrooms
  • 2 Tbsp All purpose flour
  • 2 Cups Mushroom stock
  • 4 Whole Eggs fried
  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. Begin by creating the mushroom sauce.  Heat the olive oil in a skillet.  Add the mushrooms and cook until softened and the water is cooked out.  Add the flour and continue cooking for a couple of minutes.  Add in the stock and simmer for a few minutes.

    Add the hamburgers into the mushroom sauce and cover with a top.  Cook for a few minutes on low heat.

    Meanwhile, prepare your fried egg.

    Assemble the dish with the hamburger and a whole bunch of the mushroom sauce.  Top with the fried egg.

    Serve and enjoy!
