Ingredients

Slaw Ingredients

  • 8 Whole Broccoli stems cut into matchsticks
  • 1 Whole Carrot cut into matchsticks

Slaw Dressing

  • 1/4 Cup Mayonnaise
  • 3 Tbsp White Vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp Lemon Pepper
  • 1 Tbsp Celery salt
  • 2 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Tsp Sugar

Instructions

Slaw Dressing

  1. Combine all the spices and the vinegar and mix well. Add the mayonnaise, mix well and set aside.

Broccoli Slaw

  1. Begin by prepping the vegetables. Take the broccoli stems and peel the rough exterior. Then, take the long stems and slice lengthwise using a mandolin. Finally, take the mandolin cut stems and slice into matchsticks.

    Using the mandolin, cut the carrot into matchsticks too. Place both the stems and the carrots in a bowl. Top with the dressing and mix well. You can serve right away or stick in the fridge until using. Because the stems are so sturdy, the dressing will not make the slaw wilt.
