Beef Cheese Hoagie Sandwich

A simple sandwich like my father used to make for me that I made for my son. Beef Cheese Hoagie Sandwich dressed with slaw and melted cheese.

Ingredients

  • 3 Slices Deli Roast Beef
  • 4 Slices Gouda
  • 1/4 Head Cabbage Rough Chop
  • 2 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 Tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 2 Tsp Celery Salt
  • 1 Tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Whole Hoagie Roll
  • 5 Handful Banana Peppers

Instructions

  1. Take the rough chopped cabbage and mix with the spices, oil and vinegar.  Set aside.

    Open the hoagie roll and begin by topping with roast beef.  Next, add the smoked gouda.  Place on a baking tray and put in a 325 degree oven for 4 - 5 minutes.  When the cheese is good and melted, remove from oven.

    Top with a big handful of slaw and banana peppers.

    Serve and enjoy!
