My Asian Glazed Salmon is the perfect weeknight meal. Easy to prepare and packs so much Asian flavor with a healthy result.
Begin by patting dry the salmon. Mix the spices and then liberally apply to the salmon.
Mix the sauce ingredients and set aside.
Heat the oil in a cast iron skillet on medium high heat. Begin by cooking the salmon flesh side down for 2 minutes. Flip the fish over and place in a 325 degree oven for 8 - 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and add the sauce ingredients to the skillet. Let the butter melt and begin spooning the sauce over the salmon. Do this for about 1 minute. If you like, you can throw the skillet back into the oven under the broiler for 1 minute.
