
Amish Friendship Bread has spread through a chain letter. In our house, we are glad it has. The cinnamon flavored bread is good at breakfast or for dessert.
The recipe starts with someone giving you some starter. At day 5, you add 1 cup each flour, sugar and milk. Repeat again at day 10.
Combine all the ingredients in a mixing bowl. Mix well.
Combine all the ingredients and mix well.
Slowly mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients. I put 1/3 of the dry ingredients at a time. When combined correctly, you have a thick batter. Prep your bread loaf pan with cooking spray and dust with a mixture of cinnamon and sugar. Pour in the batter. Top with more cinnamon and sugar. Place in a 325 degree oven for 1 hour. Be sure to check doneness with a toothpick.
After baking, let the bread rest for 15 minutes before removing from the pan.
