Tacos

Sometimes the simplicity of a name does not do justice to the flavor of the dish.  The taco meat was a mixture of 2/3 ground turkey and 1/3 ground beef.  Spice it just right and combine with your favorite veggies.

Recipe
Tacos:

  1. In a hot skillet with 1 tbsp olive oil, brown the meat and cook until most of the moisture has evaporated
  2. Add 3 tbsp ancho chili powder, 2 tbsp each paprika and cumin and 1 tsp each salt and pepper, and 3 tbsp tomato paste, mix well
  3. Assemble with soft tortilla, add the meat, then cover with a handful of Mexican 4 cheese blend, lettuce, tomatoes and avocados
