This post is inspired by the theme of my last dinner party – Middle Eastern food.  So this Friday Five- Middle Eastern addition is an aftermath of that concept.  It is also an expansion of last week’s Friday Five.

So Let’s start with an all purpose spice, Harissa from Cooking With Gifs.  Harissa has become my favorite new ingredient in the last couple of weeks.

Now, I want to share a number of appetizers which I think we are most familiar with.  The first recipe is a Creamy Pumpkin Hummus from the Endless Meal.

How about this really colorful Beetroot dip with sesame sauce known as Shamadar Bi Tahini from  Recipes ‘R Simple.

I have seen recently this Middle Eastern cheese known as Labneh.  In this case made into a Labneh dip from Simple Provisions.

Moving to heartier dishes, I present this vegetarian sandwich, a Moroccan Carrot Panini from Katie at the Kitchen Door.

For the vegetarian, here is a Charred Eggplant and Chick Pea Stew from The Wimpy Vegetarian.

Here is a super easy, 3 ingredient dinner recipe of Beef and Parsley Kebabs from Fashion Edible

I finish the main courses with Turkish Paprika Lamb Shanks from The Cook Who Nothing.

Now, I don’t know about you because I am so full, but I think I have just a little room for dessert.  I present to you a Rose and Saffron Pots De Creme from One Small Pot.
