I was contacted by Chocoley, an Atlanta based Chocolate company about trying their product.  It’s chocolate so of course I said yes.  I have tried a few different recipes with their chocolate but today I am posting about my Chocolate Covered Strawberries.  I made them using both chocolate and white chocolate.  They were awesome.  How bad can they be – it’s chocolate and fruit.  Now, I do have to admit, and any real baker will know that I blew the recipe.  I didn’t make a melting chocolate.  I used sweetened condensed milk instead of cream.  Result is a thick chocolate.  Nothing wrong with the taste just more of a truffle like consistency.  Live and learn.

Directions:

In a sauce pan, heat the sweetened condensed milk on medium heat.  Cook until just warm and take off the stove.  Place the chocolate chips in separate bowls and add 1/2 of the heated condensed milk to each bowl.  Stir each bowl until the chocolate is fully incorporated.  Add 1 tsp vanilla extract to each bowl and mix.
