So what do you do when you have left over Chicken Milanese?  Get creative and make a lunch with it.  The flavor of this Chicken Milanese is so good that the key here is to not overdo it.  In making the original recipe, it is a simple recipe without too many ingredients.  I think the texture is the key.  So I have learned how to pan fry the breaded chicken getting a good crust, not to soft and not burnt.  For anyone who has made this before, you know what I am talking about.

To turn this into an awesome sandwich, or more correctly, a wrap into a work of art is simple.  Take the chicken, top with cheese, throw in a special sauce and finish with a little crunch.  These food items will create a wonderful experience, a mouth water experience, a Chicken Milanese Wrap.

Angle 500

Ingredients:

  • 1 chicken Milanese breast
  • 1 tortilla wrap
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1/2 – 1 tbsp Frank’s Red Hot Sauce
  • 2 tbsp shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup cabbage
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • salt & pepper to taste
Ingred 500

Ingredients

Directions:

Pre-heat your oven to 325 degrees.  In a bowl, combine the mayonnaise and the red hot sauce.  Mix thoroughly.  Add a little more hot sauce if you like it spicy. Place the chicken on a baking tray and top with the cheese.  Place in the oven for maybe 2 minutes.  You just want a good melt of the cheese.  Meanwhile, combine the oil, vinegar and spices in a bowl and mix.  Roughly slice the cabbage.  Add the cabbage to the bowl and fully dress the cabbage.  Lay out your tortilla and top with the mayo hot sauce.

I’m not sure why you have a recipe for this because having leftover Chicken Milanese that looks as good as yours would never occur in a million years lol (well at least not at my house). I never had a chance to comment on the Chicken Milanese recipe but it looked amazing, as does your tasty wraps.

Thx on the photo. I have had a lot of difficulty with wraps. Hard to get an angle that shows the ingredients.
