This original post received so many hits when thinking about what I should submit for the next Shine Supper Club, I wanted to share this post with their followers.

Is there anything easier to throw together or more comforting?  I walk in the house and my daughter is throwing this together with a girlfriend.  I had to stick my nose in but it was primarily to get a cool pic.

Recipe
Baked Pasta:

  1. Prepare 2 packages of noodles (any kind you like) – we used bow ties
  2. Embarrassed to say but we used sauce from a jar (hey, it is the middle of the week and we all work)
  3. We layered the al dente pasta with sauce, mozzarella cheese, noodles, sauce and cheese and topped with grated fresh Parmesan
  4. Baked in a 375 degree oven until the cheese melted and finished on high broil for 2 – 3 minutes.

My daughter is the reason this dish was made. Kids are such inspiration!

The size of the dish is worn out on the dish but it is about an 18″ round. You can use any size. It depends on how much pasta you make. I made a couple of boxes of pasta and saved some for another recipe.

Do you really need to broil the baked pasta when it’s finished? I have no clue how to broil stuff lol

the broiling really does help. it gives a really quick browning to the cheese. your oven should have a setting for broil?

Looks GREAT! And so easy! I could these going well with a tossed salad. I make my salads and put them in individual containers for the work-week on Sunday nights. I always make an extra one to use with dinners. So, virtually, you could have a square meal in just minutes with your Baked Pasta! Love the idea!!
