I was in the store buying my groceries and they had a display of cheeses.  These were Boars Head products with spice added.  That works for Nate and me.  I froze a second loaf of rustic crusty bread (see March 13th post for recipe) for just this moment.  This bread grills so well.  I have started using my heating plate that I can adjust the temperature on for my sandwiches.

Reicpe
Grilled Cheese with 3 Pepper Colby Jack Cheese:

  1. Slice 2 pieces of the rustic crusty spread and spread butter on both sides (I spread tab likes pieces all over the bread to get browning in different spots
  2. Slice cheese and place evenly all over the bread (I didn’t count but I believe there were 8 or so pieces)
  3. Spray grill with Pam and place sandwiches on grill.  Grill for about 3 minutes until the desired browning is achieved
  4. Flip and cook for another 3 minutes.  Cover with a pot top to get the best melt of the cheese.
