Another weekend is upon us, and this weekend, we will be hosting my business partners and the others in the company that help us do what we do.  So this Friday Five – Mexican addition is a precursor and primer for me to create a menu.

So let’s begin our menu with some appetizer ideas.  I always like fusion, so here is a fun knock off – Taco Bell Mexican Pizzas from Domestic Superhero.

Our second appetizer idea is here to please the spice lovers out there.  It is a Fire Roasted Salsa created by Budget Bytes.

Our final appetizer idea is a fun, cute idea Mini-Taco-Bites from my blogger friend Christin, over at Spicy Southern Kitchen.

What is more Mexican than peppers?  Love the look of these Mexican Stuffed Bell Peppers developed The Crepes of Wrath.

Moving to the dinner phase, I wanted to present a couple ideas that are a little less traditional.  Here are Braised Chicken Tacos by No Recipes.

Our second main course offering is true fusion.  Look at this mouthful Mexican Chorizo Garlic Shrimp Burger by Lady and Pups.

Of course you need a side for your main course and I really like the addition of enchilada sauce in this Enchilada Rice from Heat Oven to 350.

No meal would be complete without some sweets.  As you know, I am a sucker for chocolate and I hope you are too.  This beautiful Mexican Flourless Chocolate Cake was created by Laura’s Sweet Spot.

Enjoy!

Me too! Being the Southerner that you are it makes sense that this sandwich has your name on it!
