Ingredients

Starter

  • 2 Cups Flour divided
  • 2 Cups Sugar divided
  • 2 Cups Milk divided

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Canola oil
  • 1/2 Cup Milk
  • 3 Whole Eggs
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla extract
  • 3/4 Cup Starter

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 Cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1 1/4 Tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 1/2 Tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 Tsp Baking soda
  • 1 Box Vanilla pudding

Instructions

Starter

  1. The recipe starts with someone giving you some starter. At day 5, you add 1 cup each flour, sugar and milk. Repeat again at day 10.

Wet Ingredients

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a mixing bowl. Mix well.

Dry Ingredients

  1. Combine all the ingredients and mix well.

Assembling the Bread

  1. Slowly mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients. I put 1/3 of the dry ingredients at a time. When combined correctly, you have a thick batter. Prep your bread loaf pan with cooking spray and dust with a mixture of cinnamon and sugar. Pour in the batter. Top with more cinnamon and sugar. Place in a 325 degree oven for 1 hour. Be sure to check doneness with a toothpick.

After baking, let the bread rest for 15 minutes before removing from the pan.

    Serve and enjoy!
