As long as you have a couple hours of lead time, this is a really simple way to bring in some marvelous Indian flavor into your home. Â I used a tandoori mix I bought at a spice shop and made a simple marinate and voila, 2 hours later your fish is ready to bake.
 Recipe
Tandoori Salmon:
- In a mixing bowl, combine 3 tbsp tandoori spice mixture with 1/3 of a cup vegetable oil, 1/3 of a cup of water and either 1/3 of a cup of white vinegar or lemon juice (I did 1/2 of each of these elements to get to my 1/3 cup)
- Pour over 3 salmon fillets and marinate for at least 2 hours
- Take out of fridge and place on a baking sheet with some of the marinate poured on top of the hish and place in a 325 degree oven and cook for 10 – 12 minutes
- Take remaining marinate in a sauce pan and bring to a boil and allow to reduce a little and pour on top of salmon when ready for serving if you want more flavor.Â

I love Tandori spice but have never tried it with salmon. I think this would b quite delicious with some Naan Bread
