So, at what age did you start realizing you needed to eat more salads?  For me, the thought started at 40.  Came up again at 50 and I accept it and fight natures pull through diet and exercise as much as I can.  With that said, adding more salads to your diet does not mean you have to lose taste.  I have learned with salads to add lots of vegetables, colors and textures to keep it interesting.  Ultimately, though, the dressing has to make the salad.

It is so easy to make salad dressing and what you make is so much better than the bottle kind.  Most dressings are only a few ingredients and only take a few minutes at most to put together.

Recipe

Honey Mustard Dressing:

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup Dijon Mustard
  • 1/2 cup Honey
  • 1/4 cup Olive Oil
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Directions:

Pretty easy.  Mix all ingredients in a jar and shake well.  Serve and enjoy!
