Gluten free translates to desserts better than any other food course. Think about your favorite flourless chocolate cake recipe.Jump to Recipe
I don’t do desserts often but when I do, I do chocolate. I used to do desserts every night but I read that sugar causes inflammation. I felt I had some arthritis coming on. This feeling began my journey down a gluten free life style. Now I do not have to be extreme in my diet but removing most of the gluten and sugar generally has modified the stiffness and pain I felt. “LISTEN TO YOUR BODY“.
I said I love my chocolate, so let me share some of my favorite gluten free desserts. My first delicious dessert is this CHOCOLATE CAKE WITH CREAM CHEESE FROSTING. Or this SKILLET APPLE CAKE WITH CARAMEL FROSTING. Or this last idea PUMPKIN BROWNIES.
Making a gluten free dessert follows the exact same steps as your gluten recipes. It always starts with mixing your dry ingredients. Then, putting together your wet ingredients. The dry ingredients are mixed into the wet and once combined, added to the baking tray. The only difference is the cooking time.

Making gluten free desserts follow all the same rules as there gluten counterparts as I did with these Gluten Free Chocolate Brownies.
- 2 Cups GF All-Purpose Flour
- 1 1/3 Cup Cocoa Powder
- 1 Lb Butter
- 4 Cups Sugar
- 8 Whole Eggs
- 1 Cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- 1 Cup White Chocolate Chips
- 1 Tsp Salt
- 1 2/3 Tbsp Vanilla Extract
Preheat oven to 325 degrees and spray a 17x12x1″ baking pan with non-stick spray.
Sift flours, cocoa powder and salt in a bowl and set aside.
In a stand mixer, cream together eggs, sugar, butter and vanilla until well mixed.
Add flour mixture in batches. Combine but do not overmix.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Spread the batter evenly into your baking dish.
Bake 35 – 40 minutes. You want brownies firm to the touch on the outside. They will be soft in the middle.
Cool 30 – 40 minutes before cutting. They will be very gooey.
Serve and enjoy!
