Ingredients

  • 2 Lbs Salmon cut into 4 fillets
  • 1 Tsp Smoked ground cumin
  • 2 Tsp Lemon pepper
  • 2 Tsp Spanish paprika
  • 1 Tsp Smoked paprika
  • 1 Tsp Smoked Sea Salt
  • 1/4 Cup Gluten Free Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tsp Lime Juice
  • 1 Tbsp Honey
  • 2 Tsp Tamarind paste
  • 2 Cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 Tbsp Butter
  • 1 Tbsp Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Begin by patting dry the salmon. Mix the spices and then liberally apply to the salmon.

Mix the sauce ingredients and set aside.

Heat the oil in a cast iron skillet on medium high heat. Begin by cooking the salmon flesh side down for 2 minutes. Flip the fish over and place in a 325 degree oven for 8 - 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and add the sauce ingredients to the skillet. Let the butter melt and begin spooning the sauce over the salmon. Do this for about 1 minute. If you like, you can throw the skillet back into the oven under the broiler for 1 minute.

    Serve and enjoy!
