Let’s merge health with value today. I think we all generally associate eating healthy with needing to spend more money. I came across two articles in my research. One from the USDA which has significant research and a second article from WebMD to put a hole in the thought process. Now I do want to point out that this article speaks to food types rather than how they are grown. Most purists will comment on the fact that they don’t discuss organic food and they offer canned vegetables instead of fresh vegetables.
The point of sharing this article is to get us thinking about choices we can make and how we can stay within a budget.
