It has been a long time since I did a themed collection post that I used to call my Friday Five. Today, I offer the evolution that I am calling the Sunday Six. My first Sunday Six – Christmas Desserts are a fun holiday theme of sweet goodness. These desserts can work for all the holidays of the season but cold and snow are somehow a necessary compliment to there sweetness. I had to look back to see that I did do a Holiday Addition of my Friday Five.
On my inaugural addition of the new Sunday Six series, I am offering some CUTE, super sweet and beautiful desserts. I have included 4 desserts that I found on the web and a couple of my old posts that I can tell you they are good!
Our first idea is a simple idea that we should not keep to close because I am not sure that I could stop eating them. The recipe for this fun treat comes from Food Folks and Fun.
The next dessert I can vouch for because I made it and it was good. It is certainly the time of year that we see Pumpkin Pie.
If you want to go campy with your holiday treats, Bakerella has developed desserts and posts that give you a number of super fun ideas. I have chosen to share these fun Santa hats.
Now, I don’t know about you but I love eggnog. It is a really good thing for me that it is only made this time of year. So it is perfect for desserts too. The below Egg Nog Pudding is found in Country Living and looks delicious and I love the look of all the layers.
I also cannot speak for you but nothing is better than chocolate. Many of you have read that I have been going gluten free in support of my wife’s new diet. The good news is this Flourless Chocolate Cake is both SUPER delicious and will look gorgeous on your holiday table.
The final offering rings in the season. It is a Peppermint Bark Cheesecake developed by Cooking Classy.
