This post is updated for the Shine Supper Club sexy dishes February publication.  They are looking for recipes that lead to seduciton.  I decided to go with this drink because, as a man thinks, this leads to the clothes falling off.  Enjoy!

I would say that the holiday food item I remember more than any other is egg nog.  It was a real treat that my mom would pick up for us.  I think the memory is so strong because it was the only time of year you could find it in the grocery store.  I have made it from scratch and it is not particularly hard.

With that said, I bought the egg nog to use in cake recipe I was making.  I had plenty left over.  Since I will be leaving town in a few days for Thanksgiving, I needed to find other ways to use egg nog.  I googled egg nog alcohol drinks.  After seeing a couple of drinks, I was off to create my own drink.

Recipe
Rum Egg Nog:

  1. 1 shot of Bacardi Puerto Rican dark Rum
  2. Approximately 1 cup of egg nog
  3. Sprinkle with cinnamon and top with a small basil leaf.
