Putting a Mexican twist on the American classic. Â Mix the ground beef with pablanos, jalapenos and some Tabasco. Â Toast the buns and top with an avocado mayo.
Recipe
Poblano Burger:
- Mix into 1 & 1/2 lbs of ground beef, 1/4 of a diced poblano pepper, 1/2 of a jalapeno pepper, 1/4 cup of bread crumbs and 8 drops of Tabasco sauce and mix well
- Heat an outside grill to medium hot and place the hand formed burger on to the grill
- While grilling, take 1/4 cup of mayonnaise and mix in 1 ripe avocado. Â Combine using a masher so the mixture is a little chunky. Â Finish with another 6 drops of Tabasco
- After flipping the burgers (about 6 minutes per side), top with 3 slices of mozzarella and 1/8 cup of shredded Mexican 4 cheese mix in the final 2 minutes of cooking
- Dress the sandwich by spreading the avocado mayo on the toasted bun and top the sandwich with 2 slices of roma tomatoes and 1/2 piece of romaine lettuce Â

Pete, This looks and sounds amazing. Burgers are one of my favorite foods in addition to anything spicy. This should be perfect.
