So this is a Sunday creation. Â It is football season and what is more fun, and goes together better than football and a hearty sandwich. Â The only difference with this concept between my parents generation and ours is that we don’t just create a submarine sandwich. Â We have to add a little flair to the American classic.
This may not look the prettiest but it is layered with flavor, literally. Â The base of the sandwich is Pillsbury biscuits that I rolled out with a roller pin and layered 4 high. Â Then, the sandwich has sliced roast beef and turkey, red and green peppers, banana ring peppers and lastly, cheddar cheese and smoked gouda. Â Oh, I used just a little bit of sweet and spicy mustard on one layer.

- Add another rolled biscuit and top with a slice of roast beef and turkey, cheddar cheese and smoked gouda and green peppers
- Place the final rolled biscuit and cook in a 350 degree oven for approximately 12 minutes.
