As most of you know, Mexican is my thing. So maybe I am creating this Friday Five – Mexican addition just for me. You have a problem with that? I didn’t think so. Mexican food has so many flavors, so many textures. This post will take us through a culinary journey so you can serve a complete meal for family or friends.
We have to begin this round up with a drink. Don’t we? I think so. This is a Mexican post. So we need to have a margarita. Let’s change it up though. Try this Blueberry Lime Frozen Margaritas from May I Have That Recipe.
Who wants a soup for this cold weather we are having? I do. This soup warms you, obviously, by being hot and with “hot” ingredients. This is a Roasted Tomato and Green Chili Soup by Melanie Makes.
I never do this but I found this recipe after I had chosen the previous recipe. So I am giving you another recipe from Melanie Makes – a Southwest Carrot and Black Bean Soup.
Offering you some slightly non-traditional Mexican ideas, this next recipe is an Easy Taco Pie from Damn Delicious.
Keeping with the non-traditional, I offer you a fusion dish of Mexican Pizzas from Recipe Tin Eats.
Are you looking for an easy one pot dish? Try this Mexican Chicken Skillet Dinner by Pick Fresh Foods.
Now we need a side for our meal, especially for the chicken skillet. How about this Cauliflower Tater Tot Casserole by Food Faith Fitness.
I don’t know about you but I am not sure I have room for dessert. OK. I always have room for dessert. This Mexican Cheesecake created by A Zesty Bite looks so cool.
Enjoy!
