Is there anything more American, more grilling, more Memorial Day than the All-American Burger?  What do you think?  No really, please weigh in on this subject.  What do you think is the most All-American food on Memorial Day?  This post is going to be singularly focused, no rounded meal.  Hence the name for this Friday Five Memorial Day addition Burgers.

Our first burger is a BBQ Turkey Burger by Sunny Side Up.

Our next burger is a Spicy Hawaiian Burgers from Homemade By Homan.

Continuing with these mouth watering offerings, I present a Mozzarella Stuff Burger created by Simply Delicious.

Full yet?  Didn’t think so.  Look at this Mexican Chorizo with Garlic Shrimp Burger by Lady And Pups.

I can’t seem to stay away from the more unique, you might even say, un-American burger ideas.  But this is the new food scene in America.  This is a Chicken Burger with a Mushroom Sauce  found on the Hojiblanca site.

We finish today’s addition with a little burger twist – Dessert that looks like a burger.  This Burger Cake was created by Coco Cake Land.

I have the same issue. Busy thinking of vegetarian recipes to balance the calories.

You can melt cheese on cardboard and it will look good! Isn’t that cake creative?

Good lord, what an incredible line up of burger recipes. The chicken one really stood out as most interesting – however they are all unbelievably appetizing.

It wasn’t my recipe but I often do chicken or turkey because my wife does not eat hamburgers. I really think you can get more creative with white ground meat.
