Ok, the title is a bummer.  Are we already talking about the end of summer?  We are but that does not mean we have to stop eating. When do we ever stop eating?  Let’s take advantage that we can still grill and spend our labor day outside with the grill.

Since I have depressed you with the thought of the end of summer, why not drown our sorrows (within reason).  This fruity cocktail is a Faux Sangria (go ahead and add alcohol) concocted by The Noshery.

As long as we have begun with a Mexican belt, let’s continue and have an appetizer of Salsa Fresco found at Healthy Apperture.

Salsa fresco, tomatoes, onions, cilantro, lime, chips

Moving into the main course, we got to fire up the grill.  Our first entree is called Leap Frog Chicken developed by The Right Recipe.

And if you are my son, you want beef.  So let’s go with this Flank Steak with Chimichurri Sauce grilled by Ezra Pound Cake.

Time to start rounding out the meal.  No BBQ would be complete without good sides.  I love potato salad and this is a Southern Potato Salad that I created.

And for a second spin on potato salad, I present Sweet Pea’s Kitchen adaptation of an Amish Potato Salad.

A little different spin on the above is to use macaroni.  This Macaroni Salad was created by A Good Life Eats.

Our last side is a nifty Bread and Butter Pickles developed by Blissfully Delicious.

The first dessert I present is by someone you may all know.  A rancher known as the Pioneer Woman.  Look at these Grilled Peaches and Pecans. Yum!

So if you still have room, I complete are menu with Peach & Clove Ice Cream created by My Fiance Likes It So It Must Be Good.
