This Friday Five – Flatbreads & Pizza is a result of yesterday’s post my Lavash Cheeseless Pizza. It got me to thinking, what unique pizzas or flatbreads could I find in the blogging world. So this post is focused on a spin on traditional pizzas and flatbreads.
I lead this journey of flatbreads with a Macaroni ‘N Cheese Pizza. I have never had one but my wife and daughter had one once and said “it was to die for.” This version was created by The Gunny Sack.
The next offering is fusion right up my alley – Italian and Mexican. This recipe is Verde Chicken Enchilada Pizza from Life’s Ambrosia.
With this Greek inspired pizza, we see how universal all foods are. This Greek pizza is known as a Peinirli was created by Supergolden Bakes.
The next idea is one I have tried and if you are gluten free or not, try making a pizza with a cauliflower crust. It is really good. These Cheesy Cauliflower Pizza Bites were developed by The Dinner Mom.
With this next idea, I have to admit that my attempts at making focaccia bread have been very hit and miss. This Rosemary Focaccia Bread from Spoonful of Flavor looks just perfect.
Pizza comes in many forms. This is a Calzone with Chicken, Spinach and Wild Mushrooms from Southern Boy Dishes.
I not sure when this post will stop, who doesn’t like all things bread and cheese? Our next great recipe is a Summer Tomato Focaccia from The View From Great Island.
This could go on all day but I am going to close this post out with a dessert pizza of Cookies & Creme Dessert Pizza from Girl versus Dough.

Wow! Loved the recipe. We take pizza almost every weekend at restaurants but this homemade one just awesome. They lost a customer because of this 😛 Thanks for sharing the masterpiece
