I so loved the faux velveeta cheese I made last week, I wanted to try it again using a different cheese this time. Â I had Monterrey Jack in the fridge. Â How about complementing the cheese with a little bit of spice! Â An idea was born – add in banana rings. Â This was truly a good idea.
What I did learn was that this cheese really does take on the melting properties of Velveeta so it is not sturdy enough for sandwiches when melted. Â It is perfect for mixing on pasta or the like.
